I never thought I would love someone so much until I had Jackson. I mean I love Jason so much and I love Jackson so much. I think I love both of them even more now that I have both of them, if that makes any sense.
I am finding out quickly that things people do annoy me more and more everyday when Jackson is around. Things like shooting fireworks at 10:00 at night when Jackson went to bed at 8:30 or 9:00 really annoys me. People smoking bothered me before I was pregnant, even more while I was pregnant, and now you just don't do it in my presence or I will say something to you about it. My child should not have to breathe the air that you are polluting with your smoke. Ggggrrrrrr..... When Jackson is crying and someone tries to rip him from my arms.....uh, I almost lost it the other day when that happened. He is MY child. NOT YOURS! Let me hold him if I want to hold him when he is crying. Now it would be different if it was family or friends trying to hold him or comfort him, but someone who just met him and thinks because it is my first child that I don't know how to take care of him..... Grrrrrr.... Any who, guess that's my soap box for today.
On another note, my baby boy is 4 months old now. He is so fun. We have finally made it through the tummy aches and gassiness I think and now its almost time for me to go back to work. How unfair motherhood is....I mean we should be able to stay off with our babies if we want and not worry about jeopardizing our jobs or whatever. I wish I had a lot of money and didn't have to work for the next 5 years. That would be great. I would be bored out of my mind some days, but I would start a hobby or something with crafts to sell maybe. Just a dream I guess...
We had Jackson's 4 month checkup today. He has finally caught back up to the other babies his age. He is in the 50th percentile for height and weight. He was like in the 5th for weight and height when he was born. He had to get his 2nd round of vaccinations today. He was such a big boy. He cried but as soon as I picked him up and hugged him tight he was ok. He is such a sweet little boy. He has been in the best mood all day long today. Even though he just got his shots he was smiling at me. How can I leave that to go back to work? Ugghh....I have to stop thinking about it.
Happy thoughts....Jackson is doing better in his jumparoo now. He is staying in it longer too. I put him in it yesterday and he was bouncing every 30 seconds or so. He was doing really well! I think he is finally figuring it out. He is getting so big that we had to take the pillow out from under it, but there is still a platform type thing under it to help him reach. Speaking of getting bigger, he is wearing size 2 diapers. I think I have grown to like the Huggies Organic diapers verses Pampers. They seem to fit him better and not leak as bad at night.
Well, that's all for today. I need to do a better job of writing daily on here. There are so many things Jackson is doing now its hard to put them all in one entry. Oh well, I'll keep trying!
